A hackathon is an event that engages a large collective of people arranged in teams around a set of real-world issues with the intent to generate creative ideas to solve the particular issue addressed. A panel of judges selects the winning ideas and those teams are recognized in a variety of ways. In this case, the people would be FRN’s vast network of student leaders and the problem would be a real-world issue facing Sodexo.
Prior to NFRD 2017, the rules, agenda, problem, and group information for Hackathon will be posted on this page.
Here are just a few reasons why you should attend the NFRD 2017 Hackathon:
- Your group will have the chance to create new ideas and solve problems for a company that cares
- There will be ample time for collaboration with other chapters and industry professionals
- The event will strengthen the FRN community
- You will walk away with problem-solving tools and resources
You can sign up as an individual or with a group from your chapter and/or other chapters.
